Thanks to Mens Rights Activists we now have safe men’s spaces, a more acceptable, inoffensive and less nebulous term used to describe what was previously referred to as “public”
Reporting directly from Neil Gaiman’s blog: Good Omens, the fagnificent spawn of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, is being adapted for television by Terry Jones (Monty Python) and Gavin Scott (Small Soldiers). The producer will be Rod Brown, who already lead the BBC versions of Terry Pratchett’s Hogfather and The Colour of Magic. He did a great job capturing the fantastic and gritty ambientation of Discworld’s characters, and I am sure that this coming in 2013 BBC miniseries will be up to the fan base expectations.

Men Can Stop Rape’s new College Bystander Intervention campaign.
Actual good anti rape campaign posters! They don’t shame victims, they ask people to examine their own actions and inactions and protect their friends. And not in a gross excuse for chivalry either, just as people keeping people safe.
I like this.
Yep I agree. I also like how it’s not tying a man taking action around rape to some imaginary alpha male/hypermasculine sort of thing. Like a real man would do such and such.

African Stereotype of the Day: Gabriel, Benard, Brian, and Derrik, who live in Kenya, were inspired to poke fun at the way African men are portrayed by Hollywood: “If people believed only what they saw in movies,” they said, “they would think we are all warlords who love violence.” Mama Hope — an organization that partners with African organizations to help transform their communities — was more than happy to hand them a mic as part of a video campaign to “Stop the Pity, Unlock the Potential.”
Good stuff.

WE’RE TALKING TO YOU, SHIRTLESS MATHEW MCCANAUGHEY!
I love it. Perfection, sheer perfection.
“Don’t you have a Matthew McCanaughey poster in your room?” “No, who told you that?”
Breath of fresh air…
I could SCREAM with how much I love this. Can this go viral please?
this was great but I absolutely dislike that their nationalities were omitted from this.
they are not just African. completely ignoring where these guys are from is adding to the stereotype that eveyone in Africa are the same and not worthy of seperate distinctions. Also not every African man is from West Diaspora. Arabs? where are they here?

the most important thing ever is the following
you need to find ways to love and care about yourself, above all else you need to be a person you value and are proud of, because people come and go and go and go and go but you’re always going to be there, and when all of your happiness depends on…
This makes me really fucking upset. My friend, 2300 miles away from me, wrote a letter 6 hours ago on tumblr saying she was going to kill herself. Since I was able to get on my computer, I have been calling her nonstop and checking everything. She’s not on MSN. Her facebook’s…
Anti Joke Chicken
I like that chicken.

These are some of my favorite things ever.
Like somewhere between laughter and making out, these are absolutely relevant.A gorilla walks into a bar and order a banana martini. The bartender thinks this is a little peculiar and then becomes aware he is actually dreaming. He wakes up from his dream and begins to tell his wife about the ridiculous dream he had. His wife just ignores him, the man rolls over and begins to sob because he realizes his marriage is in shambles.
